Pokhara’s New International Air Connection
Pokhara has taken an important step toward becoming a more accessible international tourist destination with the launch of regular international flights by flydubai. Starting September 23, 2026, flydubai began its scheduled service between Dubai and Pokhara International Airport (PHH), providing a direct air connection between Pokhara and Dubai. The new route makes it easier for international travelers to reach Pokhara without having to travel through Kathmandu first, while also giving travelers from Pokhara convenient access to Dubai and onward international destinations. This new international connection is expected to make travel to Pokhara more convenient for tourists, business travelers, and visitors from around the world, while further strengthening the city’s role as a major gateway to Nepal’s tourism destinations.
